We like to patina our doors as the patina makes these metal doors look rich and authentic. Paint and powder coating looks fine and has a purpose for specific applications, but patina finishes make the metal doors look so much better. Paint and powder coats can scratch, and patina is an acid chemical that changes the color of the metal which is a lot harder to scratch.
