How to Choose the Right Custom Barn Door for Your Home

Start with the material. Wood barn doors can be stained, painted, or built from reclaimed timber for a weathered look. Metal panel doors and zinc doors bring an industrial edge, while steel and glass doors let light flow through a room. Antique mirror doors add depth and function, and laminate or veneer doors give a clean, modern finish.

Think about the hardware. The track and handles are part of the design. We make our own hardware in our shop, and for a cleaner look we can build concealed or upper track systems that keep the hardware out of sight.

Measure your opening. Doors are built to your size, so measure the opening and think about how far the door needs to slide. Every job gets a drawing before we build, so you can see how it will look in your space.
