Modern Laminate and Veneer Barn Doors
Modern barn doors bring a sleek, clean look to contemporary homes. We build ours with laminate and veneer surfaces over a strong hollow core, so the door is light, rolls quietly and still stands up to daily use. They are a great fit for bedrooms, offices, closets and living spaces.
Laminates, Veneers and 3-Form
Laminates come in many colors and textures. We have used Italian laminates, an oak Bella Laminati, a two toned laminate and a 3-Form panel made of Ecoresin with small branches set into it. One door is made in four sections of hollow core with laminate on all eight sides, which keeps it light.
Metal Details and Mirrors
Brushed stainless seams, brushed aluminum bands and metal bands between panels finish the look. Many modern doors have a full length mirror on the back, so the door works in a bedroom or closet as well as a hallway.
Modern Hardware
Modern doors use clean hardware. Ours is brushed stainless steel or brushed aluminum, and it is easy to install. The handles are made to match the style of the door.
