An antique mirror door is part door and part artwork. We make antique mirror doors in hinged and sliding styles, setting hand-antiqued mirror into custom steel frames for a look that is vintage, reflective and entirely one of a kind. Every mirror is aged by hand, so no two doors are ever the same.

Antique mirror doors work in more rooms than you might think. We have built a hinged bathroom door with antique mirrors and a thin layer of film between the layers for privacy, small double doors for a bedroom with a thick patina metal frame and brass handles, and wood and antique mirror closet doors with mid century modern shapes lasered into a metal overlay.
If you like pattern, we can add a metal chevron design over the mirror. If you like warmth, we can build the door in all brass with a hint of steel, as we did for a 1920s historic home in Chicago.
How We Make Them
We start with tempered clear glass, mirror the back and antique it by hand. You choose how light or heavy the antiquing is, and the finish on the steel, which is often patina in a deep black or brown. Because every door is made to order, the size, pattern and hardware are all yours to choose.

Privacy, Pattern and Light
Antique mirror is a great choice when you want a door that does more than one job. It reflects light into a small room, adds depth to a narrow hallway, and with a thin film between the layers it can protect privacy in a bathroom. You can keep the mirror clear and see through, or add a metal pattern over it for more drama.
Frames Built to Last
The steel frame is patinaed by hand and built heavy enough to carry the mirror, with a metal toe kick at the bottom where doors take the most wear. Handles are available in brass and other finishes, and we match the hinges and hardware to the rest of your home.
